The stock color schemes that ship with Inventor are, in my opinion, just fine for most people for the majority of uses. Inventor iLogic for Cabinetmaking – Answers In Inventor’s API?

Autodesk Inventor API Programming HelpSince my post yesterday, I went through a lot of the stuff over at Mod the Machine and, although some of it may come in handy soon, I found nothing that would move this project forward in the short term. So I went to the Autodesk Inventor Customization news group to see what I could find there. No go. I went through a couple dozen pages, and found nothing related, and ran a few searches as well. But —I did find several posts where the the answer implored the questioner to go through the extensive “programming help” to look for answers.

I looked several times for this “Help” as Inventor generally has a fantastic help system, and I encourage others to use it as a learning tool. I had looked in the SDK folder, under the Contents of Inventor’s Help system, under Learning Tools, and other places to no avail. But knowing that they call it “Programming Help” was the key, and I finally found it! It can be found, as is shown in the accompanying image, by clicking the little ‘more’ arrow next to the (?) Help icon, then buried under ‘Additional Resources’. You would think that you would find any and all help files listed in the ‘Contents’ tab of the standard help, the help files for the Rhino TranslatorI downloaded from Labs is there, as are others, but no ‘Programming Help, and as far as I know, still no dedicated help on iLogic as far as I can tell.
