SINGAPORE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADSK) today announced that its design software will be used in the National University of Singapore (NUS) Engineering Design and Innovation Centre (EDIC) and the Design-Centric Curriculum (DCC). An NUS-Autodesk Term Professorship at the NUS Faculty of Engineering is also being established and hosted at EDIC.
NUS EDIC staff and DCC students will have access to Autodesk Education Master Suites, which include 20 Autodesk software products, as well as Autodesk Vault data management software. The NUS-Autodesk Term Professorship will play a leading role in the development of design curriculum to enhance learning experiences for engineering students. It will also drive integration of digital design and simulation technology within EDIC, in particular through DCC projects. DCC, launched by EDIC in 2009, is a flexible alternative pathway for students to learn engineering through multi-year, multi-disciplinary design-centric projects.
