Just a quickie post to let everyone know that this update is available. The release version of Inventor 2013 was far from stable, so it would behoove you to install this update!
When I installed the update this morning, something very unusual happened. Last night I created a video of a very detailed iLogic super model being run through all of its configurations. The model ran as fast as I’ve ever seen iLogic run for a model its size, but this morning, after the update was installed, every single configuration now runs a minimum of twice as fast, but mostly four of five times as fast!!!
The only difference between the two speeds was a restart and the update. If Inventor continues to run iLogic at this speed I will be a very happy camper indeed J Hopefully all of the little glitch’s are gone as well, but to tell the truth the entire upgrade to 2013 would be warranted just by the speed improvements to iLogic.

Hi Mark
Trying to find info about Inventor to CNC software ("the missing link"). Do you know about any of the Plug-ins available like 3d-analyzer etc.? If so can you recommend one that you have experience with?

There are several add-in type CNC links such as Inventor Cam. I cannot recommend any of them as of yet. I am currently researching one of the nesting programs, and will post what I find in this current Blogtorial. Sorry I cannot be of more help at this time.
